This year’s retreat
Theme: Many ways to pray
What is your path to serenity? This years theme invites participants to explore the spiritual aspects of their sobriety journeys and discuss the paths that led them to serenity. The ways that we pray are as varied and important as we are.
Our retreat leader this year is Cathy Freeman. Cathy is the former President of the Ann Arbor Women’s Group and an ordained methodist minister. As we focus this year on mindfulness and prayer, we look forward to being guided by her joyful wisdom.
No car? No problem!
We will work to connect women together to form carpools for a fun ride to the retreat center.
Around 1/3 of our participants will attend on scholarship. We do ask that scholarship recipients donate up to 5 hours of service work before or during the retreat. Scholarships are first come, first serve and priority will be given to first time attendees.
As soon as we reach event capacity a waitlist will be created. If you are on the waitlist you will be contacted by email if a spot has opened up. Check back here for updates or sign up to receive email updates on our sign up form. We can’t wait to see you there!
This year’s retreat will be held at the Lake Huron Retreat center located at 8794 Lakeshore Rd. Burtchville Township MI 48509
